Requirements
Must:
- Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance required
- U.S. citizenship is necessary for clearance eligibility per federal regulations
- 3-5 years of experience in a system administrator or help desk role
- High school diploma is mandatory; a bachelors degree in Computer Science is a plus
- Security+ certification is required
- Proficient in troubleshooting computer systems, networking, and audio-visual equipment
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with SharePoint, documentation processes, and inventory management
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills essential
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- A+ and NW+ certifications are preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Conduct imaging and deployment of laptop and workstation systems for Camp Grayling
- Maintain and repair all resources related to the Camp Grayling Distance Learning Program (DLP)
- Perform system patching, updates, and refreshes of operating system images
- Install peripherals and support video conferencing systems
- Manage calendars and scheduling tools for Camp Grayling DLC
- Conduct inventory and document hand receipts for incoming and outgoing equipment
- Support end-users with equipment-related inquiries and issues
- Prepare facilities for scheduled audio and video conferences
- Monitor classified transmissions to ensure communication integrity
- Coordinate issuance, setup, and return of loaned audio and video equipment
Description
We are seeking a qualified candidate for a crucial role at Camp Grayling, MI, requiring an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance. This position involves a hybrid work environment, necessitating full onsite presence five days a week from the start.
