SAP Test Manager / Test Lead

- Provide quality assurance leadership by implementing robust testing methodologies to ensure the delivered product meets high standards. - Set quality benchmarks and best practices to reduce defects reported by end users. - Lead and mentor a geographically diverse QA team (both onshore and offshore) focusing on accountability, teamwork, and ongoing enhancement. - Create and implement an automation strategy to expand test coverage without increasing personnel. - Supervise the creation, upkeep, and reliability of automated test scripts and frameworks in alignment with project objectives. - Design, develop, and sustain thorough, detailed, and structured test plans and test cases. - Review team-generated test cases to ensure they align with business objectives and functional requirements. - Execute test cases and analyze outcomes to identify issues, ensuring top-quality deliveries. - Document test results comprehensively, detailing testing scenarios, steps, and outcomes. - Present test case outcomes to user acceptance testers (UAT) to instill confidence in the QA process and testing efforts. - Minimize additional UAT testing by providing clear evidence of thorough testing coverage. - Identify, document, and track software defects proactively, ensuring timely resolutions through collaboration with development teams. - Conduct root cause analysis on defects and suggest improvements to prevent recurrence. - Regularly assess and enhance QA processes, tools, and methodologies for better efficiency and effectiveness. - Keep informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance. - Establish and monitor key QA metrics, such as defect density, test coverage, and automation progress. - Provide stakeholders with regular updates on testing progress, quality metrics, and defect status, with monthly reporting on team and individual metrics.
