Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Linux system administration, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Extensive experience with Oracle PL/SQL development, encompassing complex queries, procedures, and functions.
- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle database administration tasks such as installation, configuration, backup, and recovery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Relevant certifications in Linux, Oracle PL/SQL, or Oracle DBA are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the daily activities and projects of the Linux, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle DBA teams.
- Monitor Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and promptly address any emerging issues.
- Develop and refine PL/SQL queries and procedures to boost database efficiency.
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software while ensuring data security.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement solutions and quickly resolve any challenges.
- Perform regular system audits and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Provide Level 1/Level 2 support for applications and systems, responding to incident tickets, change requests, and service requests within defined SLAs.
- Engage in root cause analysis and take proactive measures to prevent future issues.
- Maintain and update a knowledge base for known issues and support documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations and offer after-hours support as required.
- Join client meetings and status reviews to discuss project advancements.
- Support application deployments, including patching and updates.
- Identify areas for improvement and focus on process enhancements or automation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide timely updates to end-users.
- Manage client escalations and ensure effective communication during calls as necessary.
