Network Support Services Specialist - Sacramento

- Design and support the transition from on-premises to cloud solutions for CalPERS Investment Office - Implement and maintain modern network technologies, ensuring seamless integration across the enterprise - Provide support for the Aladdin Blackrock cloud solution and promptly address any incidents that arise - Participate in the planning and design phases of future cloud solutions for INVO while monitoring for performance concerns - Offer network assistance for all INVO partner products, including Charles River, Bloomberg, and State Street Bank - Automate network monitoring and alerting systems to ensure quick failover capabilities in case of connectivity issues - Document critical failures and evaluate the prioritization of Blackrock Aladdin relative to other applications during incidents - Deliver level III support for enterprise data networks and partake in the design of SDN, SD-WAN, NFV, and emerging security technologies - Manage both on-premise and cloud operations for firewalls, load balancers, IP management, VPN tunnels, and monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds - Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to document project statuses, incident resolutions, and ensure effective communication with state personnel
