Requirements
Must:

- Proficient in SQL and data analysis
- Proven ability to convert business needs into technical specifications
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
Responsibilities
- Lead the gathering and refinement of requirements to guide design and development
- Convert business processes into precise technical specifications and user stories
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess their data needs (frequency, real-time vs batch, APIs)
- Support MDM initiatives, including the creation and maintenance of master data
- Analyze and validate data using SQL, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or misalignments
- Collaborate with reporting teams (e.g., Power BI) to resolve gaps or issues
- Recognize and anticipate common data issues (nulls, dates, etc.)
Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Data team in Houston, TX. This role involves capturing and refining complex business requirements, translating these into technical specifications, and supporting our MDM and data initiatives. You will work closely with Data Engineering, Enterprise Data Architecture, and various business stakeholders to ensure that our data pipelines, reporting, and master datasets effectively address operational needs. This is an onsite position from Monday to Thursday, located in Downtown Houston. We offer a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
