Requirements
Must:
- 8 years of professional software development experience (excluding internships)
- 5 years of experience in designing or architecting systems (including design patterns, reliability, and scalability)
- Proficiency in React, Java, DynamoDB, and AWS services
- Familiarity with all phases of the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field is preferred
- Experience in developing complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to end-users
- Knowledge of Bedrock and large language models (LLM) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust software systems that address complex challenges and deliver significant value
- Utilize a diverse array of AWS technologies to create full-stack web applications, distributed systems, and automation solutions
- Collaborate with teams across engineering, product management, customers, and business stakeholders to foster innovative approaches
- Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence by setting best practices and technical standards throughout the organization
- Advise other engineers on system architecture and design, assisting in overcoming our most pressing engineering challenges
- Recognize opportunities for process enhancements and spearhead initiatives to boost engineering effectiveness and productivity
