Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of two years of experience in maintaining computer networks and systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- An associate degree or higher is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up and oversee company computer systems and hardware.
- Test, update, and repair office equipment and computing devices.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and diagnostic assessments on systems.
- Maintain software backups and ensure system reliability.
- Assist colleagues with technical issues as needed.
- Identify common troubleshooting issues, such as loose connections or faulty components.
- Review manufacturers specifications to resolve problems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Repair or substitute damaged hardware as required.
- Upgrade systems to ensure compatibility with current software.
- Install and enhance antivirus software for user security.
- Serve as the primary contact for user error reporting and support.
- Execute daily backup operations to safeguard data.
- Manage and update technical documentation.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
Description
We are looking for an IT Support Technician dedicated to setting up and maintaining our computer systems and hardware. This position reports to the Vice President of Information Technology and collaborates with fellow IT Technicians to resolve technical issues and enhance system security.
