Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience developing ServiceNow solutions specifically in Portal
- 5+ years of overall ServiceNow implementation experience
- Proven experience in designing portal widgets and customizing ServiceNow components
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow Service Portals, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and optimal experiences
- Proficient in creating and enhancing custom widgets using AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to extend portal functionality and meet unique business needs
- Hands-on expertise in configuring or building ServiceNow applications
- Experience supporting architecture and product owner teams in establishing users, groups, and roles within ServiceNow
- Act as a technical advisor to program teams, managing technical aspects of implementations, resolving issues, and defining best practices for configuration, scripting, and workflow automation
- 3+ years of integration experience (SOAP, REST, JSON, as well as JDBC and file imports)
- In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices
- Strong JavaScript scripting skills
- Experience in customizing user interfaces and creating complex workflows
- Knowledge of integration techniques with external systems
- Experience in IL5 and IL6 environments is preferred
- ServiceNow certifications are a plus
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator is preferred
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer is preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify specific business requirements and improve client satisfaction through effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Partner with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to collect and document business objectives and functional requirements.
- Design and create portals, integrate workflows, and automate processes.
- Work directly with government Product Owners to translate requirements into technical implementation and delivery.
- Assist architects in designing ServiceNow integrations with other systems and applications.
- Manage data migration from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Perform thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations to ensure functionality and protect data integrity.
- Monitor platform performance and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of ServiceNow solutions.
- Support the program team in change management activities.
- Provide training and resources to ensure end-users integrate seamlessly and adopt the implemented solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow deployments.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices to promote ongoing program improvements.
- Collaborate with scrum team members in an Agile / Scale Agile Framework environment.
- Ensure that technical documentation for configurations and customizations is comprehensive and complete.
