Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (Must possess a U.S. degree)
- At least 8 years of relevant, demonstrable experience
- Proficient programming skills, particularly in PowerShell and Python (coding-intensive role)
- Advanced expertise in SharePoint Online architecture, including large-scale site collections and Hub sites
- Strong knowledge of core Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL
- Experience with Power Automate or Azure Logic Apps for workflow automation
- Expertise in Azure Entra ID, including App registrations and secure APIs
- Proven ownership of production systems with a focus on incident management
- Ability to design solutions and manage systems independently
- Strong ownership mentality with the capability to handle multiple priorities and effectively consult on proposals/RFPs
Responsibilities
- Oversee the lifecycle and governance of over 150 SharePoint Online site collections, including Hub architecture and permissions management across two tenants
- Perform bulk operations and maintenance tasks utilizing PowerShell and backend scripting, embracing an automation-first strategy
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft 365, providing guidance on best practices, security measures, and information architecture
- Design and enhance Power Automate workflows to streamline enterprise processes across multiple sites
- Manage Azure Resource Groups for Development, Staging, and Production environments
- Oversee Azure Entra ID, handling App registrations, API permissions, and secure connectivity
- Administer Azure SQL Servers, ensuring the security of firewall rules and connectivity
- Design and maintain Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search solutions, including document vectorization and index management
- Support a Python-based web application hosted on Azure App Services
- Develop backend pipelines using Azure Functions to synchronize SharePoint content with AI search indexes for enhanced retrieval
- Maintain and update internal Chat Bots built on Microsoft Azure
Description
We are a forward-thinking company seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer and Azure Solutions Lead for a hybrid role based in Washington, D.C. This position allows you to engage with a dynamic team in managing and evolving our Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems. We offer a competitive salary between $120,000.00 and $130,000.00 annually, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) plans, health and dental insurance, and paid time off. We prioritize candidates from the D.C. Metro area with U.S. citizenship or a Green Card due to federal contract security clearance requirements.
