Requirements

Must:
- At least 2 years of experience in IT helpdesk or desktop support - Proficient troubleshooting abilities in Windows environments - Networking knowledge, especially with FortiGate firewalls - Familiarity with security camera systems and audiovisual support - Experience with Windows Server administration or virtual environments (like Hyper-V, VMware) - Proven track record in an onsite support capacity - Excellent time management skills, able to handle various locations - Strong communication and customer service abilities - Valid drivers license and dependable transportation

Responsibilities

- Deliver Level 2 onsite support to end users, including faculty and administration - Diagnose and rectify hardware, software, and network issues - Efficiently manage service tickets professionally and promptly - Facilitate workstation setups, imaging, and the onboarding/offboarding of users - Provide assistance with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity - Support audiovisual systems and classroom tech as required - Maintain and troubleshoot security camera systems - Collaborate with senior engineers for complex issue escalation - Record resolutions, processes, and frequently occurring issues

We are currently looking for a Level 2 IT Helpdesk Technician to provide on-site technical assistance across several school locations. This hands-on role involves travel between sites based on ticket demand, tailoring to a technician experienced in a wide array of IT challenges beyond basic helpdesk duties. We seek a proactive individual competent in troubleshooting and who can take ownership of issues to deliver reliable technical support in a vibrant educational environment.
