Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing or have obtained an associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred but not mandatory)
- Two years of experience with IT systems; ideal candidates will have experience with Point of Sale systems
- Experience in a food service environment (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot IT problems
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to work in cafeterias or events while on the move
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive support and maintenance for POS systems and other technologies utilized during events and daily operations
- Communicate application concerns to relevant application owners and vendors
- Ensure the provision of high-quality IT services supporting the business
- Collaborate and follow guidance from the General Manager, Unit Controller, and District IT Support
- Stay informed on the latest IT trends and technologies
- Familiarize with IT audits and security evaluations
- Resolve IT incidents and challenges
- Represent the Student Nutrition department to onsite leadership
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms; must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Assist with data entry tasks and bank reconciliations
