We seek a highly detail-oriented and technically skilled individual for the position of Asset Management Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist. I welcome candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline. You should have 1 to 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Asset Management, ideally within data center or IT infrastructure fields. Strong documentation abilities are essential, as you will need to create clear, concise, and professional technical and business documents. Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, along with strong capabilities in SQL, Excel, and data visualization, is required. Familiarity with asset lifecycle management and CMDB principles will be an advantage. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, accompanied by a keen eye for detail, are crucial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports to track asset management performance. Your duties will involve collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets related to asset inventory, capacity, and lifecycle management. You will support data governance initiatives aimed at enhancing data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Collaboration with operations, IDC operations, and finance teams will be essential to boost data visibility and reporting efficiency. You will identify trends and insights to facilitate business planning, cost optimization, and process improvements. Automating recurring reporting processes and ensuring the timely delivery of performance metrics will also be part of your responsibilities. You will prepare clear and structured documentation, including data flow diagrams, process guides, and analytical reports. Additionally, you will assist in drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and reporting templates to guarantee alignment and traceability of data.
Description
This is a full-time position with a salary starting from $65,000. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. The work location is in-person. Preferred candidates may have experience in logistics, asset management, or data center environments, as well as hands-on experience with tools such as CMDB, ITAM, ERP, or similar platforms. An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile workflows is also favored.
