Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in developing robust server-side applications and APIs using C# and .NET Technologies.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing solutions for high availability, high throughput, and high scalability applications.
- Strong background in developing and managing REST and SOAP-based Web Service APIs within transaction processing environments.
- A minimum of 8 years in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, providing guidance to junior team members.
- In-depth understanding and practical experience with Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices.
- High proficiency in object-oriented analysis, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), design patterns, and software development.
- Self-driven, innovative, and efficient in resolving complex, time-sensitive issues.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Passion for producing usable and scalable software utilizing advanced development technologies.
- Good understanding of current System Architecture and Development Standards and Guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of software products through QA, UAT, and into production environments.
- Advocate for Agile software development practices while managing day-to-day team activities.
- Collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders from different departments to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery.
- Work alongside Scrum Masters and product owners to provide accurate development sizing and cost estimates.
- Guide story decomposition, feature design, and task prioritization with product owners and team members.
- Implement and promote automated software testing tools and frameworks, including test-driven development, to ensure high-quality standards.
- Support critical integration efforts for single sign-on (SSO) solutions, connecting internal and external systems.
- Assist in the release assembly process and continuously improve the release strategy.
- Proactively identify and address roadblocks for team members in partnership with the Scrum Master.
- Ensure cohesive coordination of individual team deliverables for successful product launches.
- Identify technology risks and develop robust mitigation strategies.
- Conduct periodic reviews and sessions to enhance code quality with development teams, focusing on requirements specification and design methodologies.
- Prototype, validate, and create tailored application solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Provide hands-on development and mentoring to foster the growth of team members.
- Produce essential project documentation, including Software Architecture documentation, Technical Use Cases, and Code Review Packages.
