Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in software design for building applications capable of handling thousands of transactions per second with 99.999% availability, integrating with multiple internal and external applications.
- Demonstrated proficiency in resolving complex issues in high-stress and time-sensitive environments, such as production incidents.
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols including OAuth and SAML.
- Expertise in JavaScript and associated frameworks, particularly Angular.
- Proficient in Java development.
- Extensive experience in web application development, preferably for consumer-facing applications.
- Hands-on experience with gateway technologies, such as Spring Cloud or equivalent solutions.
- Strong background in designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Proficiency with testing automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Karma, Cucumber, BDD frameworks).
- Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
- Familiarity with various logging technologies, log analysis, and reporting tools.
- Solid understanding and experience with CI/CD technologies.
- Experience with containerized deployment strategies.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science.
- Demonstrated curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of highly scalable and reliable applications that meet business goals and deadlines.
- Drive the development and enhancement of a top-tier authentication solution for a high-volume transaction system, capable of addressing peak demands.
- Collaborate with Solution and Platform Architects to ensure all technical implementations are aligned with strategic architecture and design principles.
- Promote and enhance platform principles, guidelines, and standards among development teams.
- Actively advocate for software agility, quality standards, and engineering excellence in an agile environment.
- Encourage and implement agile methodologies to improve delivery speed and responsiveness.
- Coach, mentor, and assist talented engineers across various teams, aiding in their growth and development.
- Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with strict development, coding, testing, and automation standards.
