Requirements
Must:
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field
- Over 10 years of experience in the AEC industry with extensive knowledge of Autodesk products across engineering disciplines
- Proven track record in managing and developing teams of 10 or more technical specialists
- Strong background in project management
- Ability to mentor, train, and nurture technical staff
- Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in relationship management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook), Bluebeam, and CRM/project tracking tools
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance across engineering disciplines, including Civil, Structural, and MEP
- Oversee activities of the Technical Services group and technical staff to ensure project alignment with company policies
- Foster operational efficiency and collaboration across different departments
- Develop a talent pipeline alongside internal recruiting for resource availability
- Monitor and report on project utilization and profitability to the VP of Professional Services
- Coordinate logistics for service engagements, including materials and technology
- Formulate and implement company policies to support long-term Professional Services goals
- Manage various service offerings such as outsourcing, consulting, and training
- Conduct weekly reviews of project health and resolve any arising issues
- Ensure quality control and adherence to client satisfaction standards
- Lead team management activities such as onboarding and training
- Collaborate with Marketing to generate thought leadership content
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and execute quarterly strategic reviews
- Maintain an accurate service opportunity pipeline and support sales with technical expertise
