Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as SPSS, SAS, R, and Python
- Strong understanding of experimental design, longitudinal and cohort studies, and descriptive survey research
- Ability to interpret intricate datasets and produce actionable regulatory advice
- Skill in presenting complex findings in a clear and engaging manner to varied audiences
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical data collection methods
- Validate the integrity of data and resolve issues related to missing or inconsistent information
- Assess potential biases in data collection and analytical approaches
- Deploy suitable statistical tests for behavioral research hypotheses
- Account for confounding factors and external influences during analysis
- Utilize adequate sample sizes to ensure statistical relevance
- Collaborate with fellow behavioral and social scientists in research project design and execution, ensuring alignment of design features with statistical methodologies
- Advise on and implement both descriptive and inferential statistics to tackle intricate research inquiries for clinical and behavioral studies
- Analyze and interpret data to unveil patterns, insights, and significant findings related to human behavior

We invite you to join our innovative team as a Behavioral Data Scientist, where we leverage data to uncover valuable insights into human behavior and decision-making. As part of ARACs Statistical Team, you will be integral in designing and analyzing complex datasets. You will collaborate with our Clinical and Behavioral Science Research Teams, ensuring the highest quality standards in data management and reporting. This is a remote position offering competitive pay between $75,901.06 and $89,364.73 per year, with expected hours ranging from 20 to 40 per week.
