Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of professional experience with .NET and C# in an Architect or Lead Engineer capacity.
- Demonstrated success in leading modernization efforts, balancing strategic vision with practical execution.
- Solid understanding of system design and distributed systems, including the creation and documentation of large-scale, cloud-based architectures supporting intricate B2B workflows.
- Extensive knowledge in database design and development with SQL Server, along with familiarity with NoSQL databases and scalable data modeling.
- Practical experience with cloud services (preferably Azure or AWS), container technologies (Docker), and current DevOps methodologies including CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps, Git, or Jenkins.
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and effective communication skills to articulate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee the architectural vision and modernization roadmap, providing a strategic path from a monolithic to a scalable architecture.
- Conduct architectural assessments and take ownership of key design decisions to align with long-term scalability, resilience, and business objectives.
- Architect and devise scalable, robust backend services that enable complex B2B workflows and high-performance web applications across the platform.
- Set and uphold coding standards, design principles, and architectural guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across engineering teams.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends in AI and assist in incorporating relevant tools and practices to enhance efficiency and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with the Product team to translate customer and business needs into well-structured architectural solutions that yield measurable benefits for end users.
