Requirements
Must:
- 5-8 years of experience in product management within B2B SaaS, with a proven record of overseeing complete feature lifecycles.
- Ability to lead the processes of discovery, validation, delivery, and iteration with measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in defining and monitoring significant product metrics.
- Capability to mentor and influence team members without a direct reporting relationship.
- Excellent management of stakeholders and leadership across various functions.
- Customer-focused approach with a tendency for strategic thinking and execution excellence.
- Technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with engineering on complex systems and decisions.
- Familiarity with fintech, financial services, or highly regulated sectors (preferred).
- Knowledge of lending, loan servicing, or financial operations (preferred).
- Experience with customer-facing products, portals, or self-service solutions (preferred).
- History of achieving measurable impacts on customer retention, NPS, or product adoption (preferred).
- Background in dealing with reporting, data exports, or compliance-sensitive features (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring continuous evaluation and refinement of strategic features.
- Mentor product team members by sharing best practices and fostering strategic thinking.
- Prioritize development efforts by balancing customer needs, strategic goals, and technical considerations.
- Define and monitor success metrics related to customer retention, adoption, and revenue outcomes.
- Make informed decisions regarding feature prioritization, deferrals, and discontinuations.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Support to identify pain points, churn factors, and barriers to adoption.
- Work closely with Sales to uncover competitive gaps and identify revenue opportunities.
- Coordinate with Engineering to address technical approaches, plan capacities, and facilitate delivery.
- Lead go-to-market strategies for significant product launches.
- Convert customer insights and business requirements into clear product specifications.
- Manage the product backlog by prioritizing based on impact, value, and feasibility.
- Propel features through the development process, ensuring quality and user adoption.
- Balance the introduction of new features with the need for operational stability and management of technical debt.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of loan servicing operations and customer workflows.
- Conduct research to validate customer problems and potential solutions.
- Build relationships with key customers to gather insights and corroborate product direction.
- Transform diverse customer needs into scalable product solutions.
