Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain components of the Integrated Eligibility Module for state government programs
- Write scalable, high-quality Java code while being actively involved in development
- Enhance applications using microservices architecture and contemporary Java frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement eligibility rules, workflows, and benefit program logic
- Engage in system design discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization
- Integrate systems with external state and federal data sources for eligibility verification
- Adhere to Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments
