Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of Databricks platform architecture and management
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory
- Strong experience with PySpark and Pandas
- Advanced skills in SQL and PL SQL
- Familiarity with Spark Structured Streaming
- Expertise in AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, and overall cloud infrastructure
- Solid Python programming skills
- Experience in designing and optimizing ETL pipelines
- Knowledge of DevOps automation practices
- Capability in data validation and transformation
- Familiarity with security protocols like SFTP, DoDSAFE, and NIPRGPT
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Skills in optimization and monitoring, including cluster autoscaling and cost management
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, and Databricks logs
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, high-performance ETL pipelines utilizing Databricks, PySpark, Python, Delta Lake, and Databricks Workflows
- Spearhead migration projects from legacy sequential databases, VSAM files, and various structured sources to PostgreSQL
- Set up and oversee Databricks Landing and Staging schemas to ensure secure and effective data flow
- Streamline data loading processes and manage high-volume cutover tasks
- Take part in data mapping, architecture planning, and technical assessment
- Create and implement technical test cases using Databricks Notebooks
- Apply data masking and transformation protocols
- Aid in defect resolution and guarantee exceptional migration results
