Requirements
Must:
- Extensive Core & OO ABAP proficiency (ALV, BAPI, RFC, BDC, Forms, Exits, BADIs)
- S/4HANA ABAP capabilities: CDS Views, AMDP, OData, RAP, BOPF
- Expertise in data extraction, performance optimization, Open/Native SQL
- Proficiency in technical documentation, source-to-target mapping, and data lineage
- 8–10 years of experience in SAP ABAP, including at least 3 years with S/4HANA
- Experience with ECC to S/4HANA migrations
- Familiarity with FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, SRM; BW knowledge is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and interpret ABAP technical specifications within ECC and S/4HANA
- Reverse engineer custom Z-tables across various modules such as FI, MM, SD, HR, and others
- Verify data extraction logic, field mappings, and business rules
- Collaborate with functional teams to clarify requirements for data engineering
- Ensure all technical specifications are prepared for data lake ETL development
