Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Oracle Database Administration, specifically with Oracle 19c
- Proficiency in PL SQL and creation of stored procedures
- Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery methodologies
- Experience with database refresh and restoration processes
- Solid foundation in performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Understanding of database partitioning and compression strategies
Responsibilities
- Administer and provide support for Oracle Database 19c within enterprise production settings
- Execute database installations, configurations, and continuous maintenance tasks
- Oversee database patching and conduct regular health checks
- Develop and uphold table partitioning strategies for enhanced performance and management
- Enable and manage table compression to optimize storage efficiency and boost database performance
- Assist in data masking efforts for non-production database refreshes to comply with regulations
- Perform comprehensive performance tuning, analyzing wait events, AWR and ASH reports, SQL optimizations, statistics management, and parameter adjustments
- Create and sustain PL SQL stored procedures and relevant database objects as needed
- Oversee backup and recovery operations, confirming restoration procedures and refresh tasks across various environments
- Deliver operational support and troubleshooting to maintain database reliability and availability
