Requirements
Must:
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, EventBridge, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch
- Solid background in microservices and event-driven architectural paradigms
- Advanced proficiency in Python backend development with practical experience in React and modern frontend frameworks; familiarity with GraphQL is advantageous
- Understanding of web and mobile application structures, particularly iOS/Android integration patterns and backend-for-frontend concepts
- Strong competence in database design utilizing both relational and NoSQL systems such as MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps processes, observability, scalability, and cloud security best practices
- Proven quality assurance and testing abilities including automation, integration, performance assessment, and quality governance
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading senior engineering teams
- Excellent skills in customer interaction and stakeholder management within onsite/offshore delivery frameworks
- Capacity to work autonomously, assume responsibility, and make architectural choices in dynamic startup environments
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions
- Previous experience in startup or product-led contexts is highly desirable
- Familiarity with onshore-offshore model delivery operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage comprehensive cloud-native architecture utilizing AWS services for scalable, secure, and efficient systems
- Oversee backend development with Python and frontend development using React; guide decisions regarding mobile architecture
- Architect and evaluate solutions based on microservices, leveraging Lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, EventBridge, and API integrations
- Develop data models across MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and implement event-driven data pipelines
- Establish and maintain quality engineering protocols, including testing strategies, automation, performance, and reliability
- Mentor engineering teams in best practices related to architecture, coding standards, cloud methodologies, and DevOps principles
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients; gather requirements, suggest solutions, and facilitate technical discussions
- Support the swift product iteration common in startup settings while ensuring the long-term viability of the architectural framework.
