Requirements
Must:
- 8-12 years of experience in software engineering, including 3-5 years in technical leadership/engineering management
- Demonstrated practical expertise with Angular/React, Java/Spring Boot, and Google Cloud Platform
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, microservices, and API-first development
- Proven track record managing Agile/Scrum/Kanban teams using Jira/Confluence
- Exceptional communication abilities; capable of creating clear technical documents and facilitating effective handoffs across time zones
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle delivery for web applications utilizing Angular or React (TypeScript) along with Java/Spring Boot microservices
- Direct solution architecture, including API design, microservice boundaries, data modeling, caching, observability, and security
- Ensure implementation of effective CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, with automated testing, code quality metrics, and progressive deployment in Google Cloud
- Advocate for reliability practices such as logging, metrics, tracing, blue/green or canary deployments, and rollback strategies
