Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, developer tools, or test infrastructure sectors
- Proven background in supporting verification and validation workflows or software testing systems
- Knowledgeable in requirements management and traceability solutions
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, robotics, or similarly regulated fields
- Familiar with tool qualification processes or development environments driven by certification
- Proficient in programming with Python and/or C++
- Practical experience in creating internal tools, automation frameworks, or enhancing developer productivity
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or analogous tools)
- Strong grasp of version control systems (Git, SVN, Bitbucket)
- Experience in aiding software development workflows, including build, testing, and release cycles
- Familiar with project management and issue tracking tools (Jira or equivalent)
- Experienced in structured or regulated settings with established processes and documentation
- Excellent communication abilities and capacity to work collaboratively across various engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Design and develop internal tools for software development and verification teams
- Set up and manage commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools utilized in engineering workflows
- Support CI/CD infrastructure and enhance automation pipelines
- Contribute to the design of traceability and validation tools
- Conduct and assist with qualification activities for tools from third-party vendors
- Collaborate across software, systems, and quality assurance teams
- Advocate for and refine processes to boost efficiency and reliability
