Requirements
Must:
- CCIE Certificate (or CCNA/CCNP with 8+ years of experience in networking, demonstrating a thorough understanding of complex network issues)
- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications (Call Manager/Express UnityCCX) is advantageous
- Proficiency with Cisco Router, Switch, Access Points, and Firewalls (Firepower)
- Familiarity with Cisco Nexus and Cisco UCS
- Knowledge of Cisco Voice systems
- Understanding of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), cloud networks, and servers
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Unity, including upgrades (UCCX experience is a bonus)
- Proficient in Cisco and Meraki infrastructure
- Knowledge of Cisco Wireless Controllers (5505 and 9800)
- Experience with Meraki Switches and Access Points
- Skills in troubleshooting Windows (Apple is a plus)
- Background in Active Directory, NOC/MSP/VAR, Anyconnect/Site to Site VPN
- Familiarity with vSphere/vCenter and Virtual Desktops (10Zig/Thin Clients)
- Experience with Horizon View and Veeam Backups
- Proficiency in ESXi
- Knowledge of anti-spam/virus email products (e.g., AppRiver/Barracuda) and DNS/domain hosting
- Understanding of Office 365 administration
- VMware VCP credential and familiarity with Virtualization technologies
- Skills in connectivity, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, VPN, and network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi/wired)
- Basic understanding of VMware infrastructure and cloud infrastructure
- Maintenance experience with Windows Servers and Active Directory
Responsibilities
- Set up and configure devices such as routers and switches, ensuring proper functionality
- Identify and resolve issues within network systems, including cabling and configuration problems
- Monitor network management systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the team to document network diagrams and related information
- Provide technical support to clients and end-users primarily through ticketing systems and phone communication
- Conduct regular maintenance on devices, including software patches and hardware upgrades
- Repair computer hardware as required
- Troubleshoot various software issues on computers
- Implement scheduled updates on devices as necessary
- Install and update antivirus software to protect the network from cyber threats
