Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess at least 3 years of experience in engineering team management and a minimum of 7 years working directly within engineering teams. Candidates should also have at least 3 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including familiarity with design patterns, reliability, and scaling. A deep understanding of engineering practices and patterns throughout the complete software/hardware/network development life cycle is essential. Experience collaborating with product or program management teams is preferred.
Responsibilities
As our Software Development Manager, my goal is to lead and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers. I will oversee the development and upkeep of vital Neuron framework components. I will facilitate cross-functional collaboration with compiler, runtime, and kernel development teams to guarantee seamless integration of Neuron with major machine learning frameworks. Additionally, I will contribute technically by reviewing designs and implementing features. Building and nurturing strategic relationships with open-source communities like JAX, OpenXLA, and PyTorch/XLA is crucial, as I will work closely with these communities to align our framework development roadmaps with Neuron's strategic goals. This position plays an important role in ensuring our customers can easily adopt and benefit from the latest advancements in machine learning frameworks.
