Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the complete software development life cycle, which includes coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships
- Over 2 years of experience in the design or architecture of established or new systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability
- Familiarity with at least one programming language
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of distributed training capabilities into PyTorch and JAX using XLA and the Neuron compiler and runtime stacks
- Optimize ML models to achieve peak performance and efficiency on AWS Trainium
- Collaborate closely with chip architects, compiler engineers, and runtime engineers to develop and refine distributed training solutions
- Engage in hands-on development, enablement, and performance tuning of a diverse array of ML model architectures
