Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in software engineering or development
- Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role overseeing engineering teams
- Demonstrated expertise in the initiation of new hardware projects
- In-depth understanding of computer/chip architecture and code generation
- Experience with AI/ML technologies (preferred)
- Background in compiler design and architecture (preferred)
- Familiarity with LLVM and MLIR (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide a team of skilled compiler engineers within our Deep-Learning Backend Compiler team at AWS Neuron
- Spearhead the design and execution of machine learning compiler solutions
- Innovate advanced optimization methods to enhance performance
- Lead hardware integration for upcoming chip generations
- Influence decisions related to pre-silicon designs while providing mentorship to team members
- Contribute to AWSs machine learning infrastructure and drive the rollout of innovative products and features
