Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience managing engineering teams
- More than 7 years of direct involvement with engineering teams
- At least 3 years of experience in designing or architecting systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- A minimum of 8 years leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services
- Proven experience collaborating with product or program management teams
- Familiarity with engineering practices for the complete software/hardware/network development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational support
- At least 3 years of experience in Deep Learning or Machine Learning
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a skilled team of engineers and managers in creating and deploying new products
- Oversee the complete development lifecycle for integrations and extensions in Pytorch, XLA, JAX, and distributed training libraries like FSDP and DDP
- Facilitate the integration of models using Mixture of Experts (MoE) architectures and future models
- Ensure the delivery of quality features aligned with customer needs
- Collaborate with executive leadership and other senior stakeholders to define product directions
- Tackle complex technical challenges across all system layers
- Design, implement, test, and maintain innovative software solutions to enhance performance, durability, cost-effectiveness, and security
- Develop robust, always-available products that provide optimal user experiences
