Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
- At least 5 years of programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- Over 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of both new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
- More than 5 years of experience in the full software development lifecycle, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Responsibilities
As a Senior ML Compiler Engineer, I expect you to identify and design solutions that ensure efficient and dependable build, test, and release mechanisms for the Neuron compiler. You will create and implement a distributed execution solution for the Neuron compiler, enhancing the efficiency of customer workloads. Your excellent technical communication skills will be vital as you collaborate hands-on with AWS ML services teams, contributing to the introduction of new products/features and engaging in various exciting projects.
In this role, you will solve challenging and often unprecedented technical problems across every layer of the stack. You will design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions aimed at improving service performance, durability, cost, and security. You will build high-quality and highly available products while researching implementations that provide the best possible customer experiences.

At Annapurna Labs, I focus on developing custom Machine Learning accelerators that lead AWS innovation and are integral to building Generative AI solutions on AWS. Our Neuron Compiler Engineering team is essential in creating the development infrastructure that allows the world's largest ML workloads to operate efficiently in the cloud. You'll create metrics, implement automation and improvements, and address software defects' root causes. Your contributions will directly impact our extensive customer base through innovative solutions. You will engage in design discussions, perform code reviews, and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - A Master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field. - Experience in compiler development.
