Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Proficiency in developing functional specifications, design verification strategies, and testing protocols
- Over 5 years of relevant experience with intricate accelerator, storage, or network server designs
- More than 3 years of experience in hardware/firmware development with a proven track record in debugging PCIe, memory, or storage subsystems
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive product design from inception to production, working alongside internal hardware, firmware, software groups, and external design partners
- Masters degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related fields (preferred)
- Knowledge of RTL coding and debugging, along with performance, power, area analysis, and trade-offs (preferred)
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art ASIC/FPGA design and verification tools (preferred)
- Experience in SOC bring-up and post-silicon validation (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with internal design teams across AWS and external design partner teams to develop top-tier server and rack solutions
- Take ownership of integrating multiple specialized components crafted by internal Annapurna Labs teams into AWSs infrastructure
- Lead the design and optimization processes for hardware and new server implementations within our data centers
- Drive initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience continuously
- Contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment by consistently seeking opportunities to elevate product performance, quality, and cost-efficiency
- Engage with leaders in various technological domains to innovate and challenge the status quo
