Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related area. You should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Expertise in Kubernetes and AWS is essential, along with a background in DevSecOps. A strong foundation in computer science is necessary, with proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and software design. Additionally, we expect you to have experience with large systems software design and development, in-depth troubleshooting, and unit testing for both new and legacy production systems. Programming experience, along with strong skills in problem diagnosis and resolution, is also required. Familiarity with SQL is expected.
Responsibilities
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, I will rely on you to fine-tune and enhance a range of complex software implementation projects. You will gather and evaluate system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions tailored to meet our clients’ needs. Your role will involve analyzing and reviewing enhancement requests and specifications, implementing system software, and customizing it according to client requirements. You will prepare comprehensive software specifications and test plans, code new programs following client specifications, and create test data for validation purposes. Additionally, you will modify existing programs to meet new standards, conduct unit testing on developed programs, and create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation. Providing quality assurance reviews and executing post-implementation validation of software while addressing any bugs detected during testing will also be part of your responsibilities.
Description
This is a full-time position, with a starting pay of $110,000.00 per year.
