Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in software design and development
- Background in designing secure protocols and/or APIs
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C++, Rust, or Golang
- More than 2 years of experience in securing complex systems
- Solid understanding of cryptographic principles and best practices, including key management and certificates
- Experience conducting security reviews and threat modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and achieve consensus
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of new security features and enhancements for common platform services across various domains, including OS hardening, authentication, and distributed protocols
- Implement your designs while balancing security, performance, and functionality, possibly working across all levels of the stack
- Review architectural proposals from other teams to identify potential security vulnerabilities and suggest effective solutions
- Conduct threat modeling and analyze existing systems to pinpoint vulnerabilities
- Provide security guidance to engineering teams, fostering heightened security awareness during development
- Work collaboratively with fellow security professionals and the software platform team to bolster Andurils security posture while fulfilling commitments to customers
