Requirements
Must:
- 2–5 years of IT support experience in help desk, desktop support, site support, or field support
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and providing customer support
- Strong grasp of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi
- Familiarity with remote support tools and assisting users across various locations
- Excellent communication, follow-through, and documentation capabilities
- Ability to work comfortably in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Valid drivers license and dependable transportation
Responsibilities
- Deliver remote IT support for our Midwest plant, addressing issues with Windows devices, printers, connectivity, and end-user concerns
- Assist Texas operations with troubleshooting remotely and performing occasional onsite visits when necessary
- Resolve Windows 10/11 problems, including hardware/software issues and user access challenges
- Provide support for printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices
- Address basic networking challenges, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi
- Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive/SharePoint, and perform fundamental administrative tasks as needed
- Collaborate with vendors on supported systems (including ERP) by providing troubleshooting assistance and documented escalation
- Maintain accurate documentation, ticket logs, and ensure proactive communication with users and management
- Contribute to IT projects involving hardware deployments, workstation updates, inventory management, and process enhancements
