Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in BBx and BBj development
- Proficient in Java and principles of object-oriented programming
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and system integration techniques
- Experience with cloud platforms and modern DevOps methodologies is advantageous
- Knowledge of Open Systems Adaptable Solutions (formerly OSAS) is a plus
- Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating in a team
- Strong communication skills for liaising with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Prior experience in a regulated industry, such as financial services, is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications utilizing BBx/BBj and Java
- Support, enhance, and troubleshoot current BBx/BBj and Java-based systems
- Integrate internal systems with third-party applications and RESTful APIs
- Develop and maintain user interfaces with BBj GUI tools
- Diagnose and resolve software issues to ensure system reliability and performance
- Collaborate with QA, product, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Work with IT teams to guarantee consistent, high-quality system support across the organization
