Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in silicon validation, specifically with CPU and MESH technologies
- Extensive knowledge of functional validation methodologies and electrical characterization processes
- Strong skills in debugging hardware and software issues
- Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with PVT (process, voltage, temperature) variations and their effects on silicon performance
- Experience in developing diagnostics for SOC compliance and use cases
Responsibilities
- Validate Amperes CPU and MESH intellectual property in emulation and post-silicon settings
- Create methodology, framework, and testing stimuli for validation and electrical characterization
- Define and implement the post-silicon validation plan on hardware emulators and silicon platforms
- Develop directed, random, and pseudo-random diagnostics for silicon validation
- Construct baremetal test bench components for effective validation and debugging
- Troubleshoot CPU and Mesh functionality to identify design or implementation problems
- Collaborate with architecture, software, chip design, and verification teams to launch new SoCs
- Conduct failure analysis to optimize software settings and improve yield
- Assist customers in diagnosing and resolving issues
- Contribute to the development of future products and associated documentation
