Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in English, communications, or technology
- 2 years of experience in technical writing
- Ability to translate intricate technical ideas into clear and accessible documentation
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management capabilities
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional meticulousness and attention to detail
- Prior experience in the healthcare sector or with a government contracting firm (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation and/or editing of technical documents, including business proposals, reports, user manuals, briefings, white papers, presentations, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, and other project deliverables
- Develop outlines and drafts for technical specialists and project managers to ensure finished documents adhere to relevant contract stipulations and regulations
- Research and compile technical and contextual information for inclusion in project documentation and deliverables
- Consult various information sources, such as library materials, technical and financial documents, and team members, to gather background data and confirm requisite guidelines and regulations governing project deliverables
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
