Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-7 years of overall IT experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, or DevOps roles
- At least 2 years of experience specifically in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Understanding of Linux and/or Windows system administration
- Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, VPN, DNS, and firewalls
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog
- Strong grasp of cloud security practices and standards
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Automate infrastructure provisioning through tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
- Collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Security teams to ensure cloud operations are reliable and secure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply solutions to enhance reliability and scalability
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and assist in audits and governance reviews
- Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost efficiency
- Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software into cloud environments
- Provide customer support regarding resource access and usage
- Maintain documentation related to infrastructure, systems, and processes
- Perform additional duties as required
