Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in customer service with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Technical proficiency and troubleshooting skills essential for this role.
- Enrollment in an IT degree program at an accredited institution is required; both associate and bachelor-level students will be considered.
- A keen interest in IT infrastructure, endpoint support, engineering, or cybersecurity is preferred.
- Availability for work hours between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm (Central Time).
- Commitment to a 12-month (or longer) internship with flexible part-time (15-25 hours) during the school year and full-time (30-40 hours) during the summer.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for IT endpoint devices and the IT Support Center through various communication methods for internal users.
- Execute associate relocations with building services efficiently.
- Prepare and set up PC equipment for use.
- Offer basic repair support for printers and copiers.
- Follow up on returning PC equipment from remote associates.
- Assist in the disposal of outdated equipment responsibly.
- Carry out straightforward tasks that support designated projects and work assignments.
- Log, monitor, escalate, and resolve incidents and service requests using our corporate IT service management tool.
- Address service requests through the IT Service Management tool effectively.
- This role involves lifting computer equipment, including monitors and desktop CPUs, regularly requiring the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Respond to calls and assist with lower-level support needs like password resets and printer issues.
- Document, monitor, escalate, and achieve resolutions for incidents and service requests using the corporate IT service management tool as needed.
