Requirements
Must:
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities in hardware, software, and basic networking
- Working familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Android/iOS platforms
- Basic comprehension of LAN/WAN, IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Familiarity with remote support tools and helpdesk/ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk)
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards
- Excellent time management, organizational abilities, and customer service orientation
- Minimum of 2 years of IT support or technical experience
- Associate or Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is preferred
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) are preferred, with potential certification requirements within 6–12 months of hire
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to undergo a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support via phone, email, and ticketing systems for hardware, software, network, and POS-related issues, escalating when necessary
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, patches, and IT equipment including PCs, servers, and peripherals
- Assist with network setup and maintenance, including hardware installation, cabling, and performance stability
- Document support activities, maintain accurate inventory records, and track IT equipment and deliveries
- Travel frequently to various locations for on-site support, including overnight trips, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policy
- Help with organizing workspaces and on-site setups, including public address systems
