Requirements
Must:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in the field
- 1-3 years of experience in technical support
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 in domain environments
- Knowledge of software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts to team members and clients
- Relevant professional certifications such as A+, Microsoft, or others (preferred)
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment (preferred)
- Familiarity with Autotask and RMM platforms (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide initial technical support for end-user connectivity and service issues
- Troubleshoot workstations, software, printers, M365, and basic network connectivity
- Offer technical support for desktop and mobile devices, resolving issues promptly
- Utilize our ticketing system (Autotask) for tracking and documenting support requests
- Collaborate with the team on implementing new technologies and enhancing existing systems
- Assist users with VPN connectivity and troubleshoot related issues
- Deploy new computers and perform hardware installations as necessary
- Identify and escalate potential issues affecting multiple users to appropriate resources
- Provide on-site project implementation support when needed
- Mentor and assist IT Support Specialist I technicians as a point of escalation
- Participate in continuous training, including instruction and certification programs
