Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing a degree or certification in cybersecurity
- Familiarity with Windows Operating System
- Understanding of antivirus and endpoint detection response software
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security features
- Experience with MDR/SIEM alerting
- Skills in penetration testing and related tools
- Proficiency in network monitoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong problem-solving aptitude
- Customer service orientation
- A+ certification, Microsoft, or entry-level security certifications preferred
- College-level experience in IT or cybersecurity-related major is a plus
- Prior hands-on experience in IT environments is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Acquire knowledge of MSP tools and client systems
- Record support tasks in the ticketing system
- Aid in penetration testing activities
- Participate in cybersecurity assessments
- Respond to alerts generated by various security tools
- Support incident response processes
- Assist with log analysis tasks
- Conduct research on CVEs and perform remediation actions
- Update ticket statuses accordingly
- Document research efforts
- Support the Security Operations Manager as required
