Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a .NET Developer.
- Strong troubleshooting and testing skills, capable of identifying issues beyond the expected path.
- Proficient in development, programming, and scripting with C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DOM, SQL.
- Familiar with tools such as Visual Studio/Code, SQL Server Management Studio, Git, Trello, and Slack.
- Demonstrated self-starter capability for gathering and analyzing information, conceptualizing ideas, and setting priorities.
- Proactive attitude towards tackling tickets, tasks, and projects.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, meeting staggered deadlines.
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in Object-Oriented Programming.
- Minimum 2 years of software development experience preferred.
- Experience in iOS and/or Android app development is a plus.
- Familiarity with membership organizations and volunteer management desired but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance, scalable systems in .NET to meet the needs of our association members and users.
- Conduct testing on customizations and integrations alongside AMS service pack and hot fix releases.
- Produce high-quality source code and complete application development on schedule.
- Assist in testing and deploying applications across various environments.
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug existing code as needed.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for applications and provide technical support to staff and vendors.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Application Development to identify components of applications prone to performance, stability, and scalability issues, and troubleshoot when necessary.
- Ensure efficient operation of all AMS integrations, verifying they are tested and functioning correctly.
- Coordinate with website and AMS vendors when implementing new features, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Maintain current end-user documentation and standard operating procedures, creating technical documents and handbooks to accurately reflect application design and code.
- In partnership with the Senior Manager of Application Development, develop and conduct end-user training for new and updated application functionalities.
- Participate in gathering and analyzing requirements.
- Stay updated on developments in internet technology, designing features that align with the latest .NET and JavaScript advancements.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
