Design Project Manager

- I collaborate with the LPL to establish a development execution plan for the design team that meets quality, cost, and delivery objectives. I provide clear targets, work packages, and schedules for the project team to achieve milestones throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to production launch. - I work alongside the project team (including Japan Engine Development) and suppliers to define vehicle performance and design specifications that uphold the overall vehicle concept, considering sales, manufacturing, and purchasing perspectives. - I manage the complete vehicle specification cost to meet model-specific sales and profit targets, collaborating with cost planning, purchasing, and cost PL to facilitate cost evaluations. I also oversee the complete vehicle specification weight to fulfill model-specific performance targets. - I lead a cross-functional design team in problem-solving and implementing countermeasures while balancing development quality, cost, and delivery. I apply situational leadership principles to navigate diverse viewpoints, unique technical challenges, and business constraints. - I coordinate with project management, management, and technical leadership to ensure the project team's readiness for significant milestones, such as drawing issues, build events, and technical evaluations. I monitor project risks and escalate concerns to stakeholders.
