Requirements
Must:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong leadership and managerial qualities, including the capability to motivate and expand teams.
- Solid conceptual skills for establishing long-term business objectives and creating structured processes to achieve them.
- Comprehensive knowledge of information technology systems, architecture, and security protocols.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity applications.
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology is mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years of advancing leadership experience in information technology.
- At least 5-10 years in executive leadership roles, including past experience as a CIO or a comparable position.
- Proven record of successfully leading technology teams in financial services, banking, mortgage, investment, or FinTech environments.
- Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a technology roadmap that drives growth and innovation for the company.
- Lead and motivate large, cross-functional teams encompassing engineering, product development, systems, information security, quality assurance, and IT support.
- Oversee the effective modernization, upgrades, and operational stability of all systems.
- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure technology aligns with business and financial objectives.
- Ensure adherence to government regulations, industry standards, and information security requirements.
- Spearhead business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate in vendor management and contract negotiations to maximize return on investment.
- Manage the IT budget and perform cost-benefit analyses to inform investment decisions.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and evaluate their potential to enhance operations and customer experiences.
