Systems Administrator - Windows/Linux

- Assist in administering, maintaining, and monitoring Windows servers, virtual environments, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS - Aid in managing and performing software and hardware installations and updates - Help configure user accounts and workstations, control network access, and uphold system security - Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management systems - Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems - Monitor system performance, backups, and alerts; proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure system availability and reliability - Participate in patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening efforts to maintain a secure environment - Assist with the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of servers and enterprise applications - Troubleshoot technical issues faced by American Fence operations and corporate teams, providing advanced solutions - Support endpoint management solutions (MDM, endpoint protection, patching tools) and ensure device compliance - Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, procedures, and disaster recovery plans - Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on infrastructure-related projects and initiatives - Aid in maintaining backup and disaster recovery systems and participate in recovery testing - Ensure adherence to security best practices, including access controls, auditing, and incident response support - Provide occasional after-hours support for maintenance, upgrades, or critical incidents - Continue to advance technical skills and certifications relevant to systems administration
