Systems Administrator - Windows/Linux

- Aid in the management, upkeep, and surveillance of Windows servers and virtual environments, along with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS) - Assist in software and hardware installations and updates - Help establish and manage user accounts and workstations, control network access, and safeguard system security - Provide support for Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management systems - Collaborate with the IT team to implement and manage network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions - Monitor system performance, conduct backups, and manage alerts while promptly identifying and rectifying issues to maintain system reliability - Engage in patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening initiatives to uphold a secure environment - Support the deployment, configuration, and management of servers and enterprise applications - Troubleshoot technical issues for American Fence operations and corporate teams, delivering advanced technical solutions - Offer support for endpoint management solutions (MDM, endpoint protection, patching tools) and ensure compliance across devices - Maintain thorough documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and disaster recovery plans - Work with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives related to infrastructure - Assist with maintenance of backup and disaster recovery systems, participating in testing for recovery processes - Ensure adherence to security best practices such as access controls, auditing, and incident response support - Provide occasional after-hours support for maintenance, upgrades, or critical issues - Foster ongoing development of technical skills and certifications pertinent to systems administration
