Requirements
Must:
- A bachelors degree from an accredited institution in computer science, business administration, public administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and design for large-scale projects across various organizations
- Proficient in creating technical documentation
- Familiar with documenting business processes and requirements
- Knowledge of web services, UML, and XML is highly preferred
- Experience with agile software development practices is highly preferred
- Capability to write user stories for agile projects is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience in developing and delivering presentations to stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Keen attention to detail with a track record of producing quality deliverables for clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven capability to capture client requirements and formulate operational concepts based on their needs
- Willingness to travel as necessary
Responsibilities
- Conduct business and technical analyses to formulate the necessary technical specifications, procedural manuals, and implementation guides for AAMVA systems and solutions
- Collaborate in the creation of relevant data models, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, business and technical processes, message formats, transaction flows, and any other required documentation
- Track task progress and produce regular reports detailing the Working Groups advancements
- Provide support to Lead Business Analysts or Project Managers regarding jurisdictions, AAMVA Committees, Federal Agencies, and other stakeholders to convert functional requirements into system design specifications
- Assist in the coordination, development, and supervision of pilot project implementations, offering technical support, coordination, training, and other services
- Help draft base statements of work and project outlines that encapsulate the projects background along with the Working Groups mission, objectives, guiding principles, and work plan
- Prepare reports for Congress and Federal Agencies that document findings related to AAMVA systems initiatives
