Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience/training
- Over 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing large-scale solutions in production environments
- 3 years of professional experience in design and open-source development
- Masters degree in a related technical discipline is preferable
- Experience in developing and supporting Teradata and MongoDB
- Familiarity with BI Analytics tools such as Cognos, Tableau, and Power BI, along with administrative capabilities in these platforms is advantageous
- At least 5 years of comprehensive experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- More than 2 years of data analytics expertise using SQL
- Over 2 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools (Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI) and working with data in a data lake (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Spark
- Demonstrable skills in Full Stack Development
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and end-users to ascertain requirements and develop solutions aligned with business needs
- Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms utilizing domain-driven design and test-driven development methodologies
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions
- Draft detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates
- Explore and integrate new technologies to improve current processes, security, and performance
- Foster the development of coding standards while adhering to best practices and security protocols
- Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure adherence to long-term enterprise growth strategies
- Participate in operational support duties in collaboration with the team
- Travel as necessary, which may be up to 10% of the time
